You need:

- Identity document (ID)

- Proof of residential address

- The manufacturer's certificate containing all the relevant details of the vehicle

- A completed Application for Registration and Licensing of Motor Vehicle (RLV) form that you can get from your local traffic and licensing department, or from the eNaTIS website.

Your Renault dealership can help you to register your vehicle and to obtain a license if you pay the "on-the-road" fee as part of your purchase.

According to law, all vehicles in South Africa must be registered within 21 days after a change of ownership. This includes change of ownership between a dealership and an owner (new vehicles). You can register your car through the local registering authority, and the vehicle registration is then recorded on the national traffic information system (eNaTIS).

Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and ensure it is discoverable. Then, access the Bluetooth menu on your Renault’s infotainment system, select “Pair device,” and follow the prompts to complete the pairing process.

When checking your Renault in at a service centre, speak to your consultant about updating your current software. If you wish to do this at home, visit the Renault website, download the update to a USB drive, and then connect the USB drive to your car’s USB port. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

First restart the infotainment system by turning the car off and on. If the issue persists, check for software updates or contact a Renault service centre.

First, check the battery in your key fob and replace it if necessary. If the issue persists, try resetting the system by holding the key fob close to the start button while pressing it.
